The importance of eyebrows cannot be overstated. Well-shaped and properly groomed eyebrows truly frame your face and give such an amazing reference when applying eyeshadow and eyelashes.
This group utilizes all formulations of cosmetics- cream, liquid, wax and powder. Use the type of brush made specific for the type of eyebrow product you are using. Cream, liquids and wax function best when used with synthetic brushes. These brushes are made from manmade materials such as nylon, taklon or polyester and are not as porous as natural hairs so they don’t absorb makeup as their natural counterparts would. Synthetic brushes are unique in that the bristles naturally gravitate towards each other, allowing for a more precise, smooth and streak free application. And because of the hairs’ precise properties, they are great for angled, sharply cut brushes.
Conversely, powder eyebrow products work best when used with a natural hair brush. These brushes are made of animal hair such as boar, goat or badger and contain cuticles which have great pick up and blending properties. Cuticles help lift and absorb powdery pigment along with your skins oils and blend them seamlessly across the face creating natural, non-blotchy look. The hair is also super soft and makes for easy blending.
