This group utilizes cream, liquid and gel products and functions best when used with synthetic brushes. Synthetic hair brushes are ideal for wet products like liquid prominence, cream contour or gel products. These brushes are made from manmade materials such as nylon, taklon or polyester and are not as porous as natural hairs so they don’t absorb makeup as their natural counterparts. Synthetic brushes are unique in that the bristles naturally gravitate towards each other, allowing for a more precise, smooth and streak free application. And because of the hairs’ precise properties, they are great for angled, sharply cut brushes.
