The Final Touch
This group utilizes cream, liquid and gloss products, but is used with both natural and synthetic brushes. Synthetic brushes are made from manmade materials such as nylon, taklon or polyester and are not as porous as natural hairs so they don’t absorb product as their natural counterparts would. Synthetic brushes are unique in that the bristles naturally gravitate towards each other, allowing for a more precise, smooth and streak free application. And because of the hairs’ precise properties, they are great for angled, sharply cut brushes. However, given the small head of lip brushes, most are made with natural hair which allows them to pick up more product on the brush (see above) thereby creating less time re-loading the brush during the application process.
